At last, I think I finally mastered a rosemary cocktail. My earlier attempts here and here were ok, but just not as great as this one. The trick, make my own rosemary vodka.
To make the vodka mix 1/2 c of vodka with 1/4 c coarsely chopped fresh rosemary, and let sit for 24 hours, then strain.
For one cocktail:
1 1/2 shot rosemary vodka
1 shot elderflower liqueur
juice of 1/2 a lemon
1/2 shot rosemary simple syrup (optional sweetness)
Splash of tonic
rosemary sprig for garnish
Mix ingredients over over ice, add garnish.
